D.yimg.com appears a browser hijacker thru unexpected pop-up by asking whether you would like to install something. But many people found that when they click "deny", the message remains open, spoiling the video. How can you stop the d.yimg.com from requesting permission to store data on my computer?
As for l.yimg.com, it may prevent you from opening Yahoo.com or Yahoo.mail. So it you ever encounter the situation that when you try to open Yahoo page, you can only get a loading page without further processing but to finally show words “not responding”.
If you are carful enough, you may see a message saying “transferring data from l.ymig.com” on the browser status bar. Be aware if your browser is caught by S.yimg.com. This is a widely distributed hijacker or redirect virus. Its appearance may follow other installation or spyware and malware. So, immediate checking on your computer security is highly suggested.
